ROSE G. COGLIANDRO

Rose G. Cogliandro, 76, died Sept. 18, 1997, in Norfolk General Hospital.

Mrs. Cogliandro was a native of Portsmouth and resided in Suffolk with her daughter Christine Parrish and her family. She was the widow of John J. Cogliandro. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Storino, and two brothers, Danny Gambardella and Joseph Gambardella. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Chesapeake.

Mrs. Cogliandro, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother is survived by her four daughters, Patricia Wagner of Chesapeake, Va., Barbara Cogliandro of Baltimore, Md., Mary Frances Hawkins of Chesapeake, Christine Parrish of Suffolk; and a son, Sanny John Cogliandro of Chesapeake; six grandchildren, Gretchen Ratliff, John Tefft, Lucas Cogliandro, Anna Cogliandro, Daniel Parrish, Joseph Parrish, and one great-grandchild, Marisa Ratliff.

A mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in St. Therese Cathoilic Church by Father Jim Griffin. Burial will be at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, on Sunday afternoon. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart and Lung Associations, 360 Southport Circle, Suite 104, Virginia Beach 23452, or the American Diabetes Association, 101 W.
