Helen G. O'Neal, 88, died Sept. 18, 1997, in her residence.
She was a native of Marshalberg, N.C., and the widow of William Robert O'Neal. She retired from Mary Perkins Gift Shop and was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Griffen of Staten Island, N.Y., Madlyn Baggett of Chesapeake, Annette Feher of Greensboro, N.C.; two brothers, Smith Kirman of Upper Darby, Pa., Stanley Kirman of Clearwater, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Robert F. Cofield. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
