Julie Ann Metzger, 39, died Sept. 19, 1997, in her residence.

Mrs. Metzger was a native of Pittsburgh, Kan., and was a member of Church of the Holy Family in Virginia Beach.

Survivors include her husband Lin; three children, Niki, Tyler and Ramsi; a sister, Gail; four brothers, Terry, Paul, Lee and Ted; and her parents, Ted G. Yoakam and Doloros Ahrens Yoakam.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at Holy Family Catholic Church by Father John Peck. Burial will be in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Laskin Road Chapel from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
