LESLIE A. SHAW

Leslie ``Buck'' A. Shaw, 82, of Route 6, died Sept. 19, 1997, in his home. Formerly of Newell Ave. in Norfolk, Shaw was a native of Braman, Okla., and the widower of Thelma Louise Sullivan Shaw. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a chief petty officer after 20 years of service. He was also retired from civil service at Naval Communications Station in Northwest/Driver.

He was a member of the Norfolk Masonic Lodge No. 1, A.F. & A.M., the Forestburg Ruritan Club and Durant's Neck Ruritan Club.

He is survived by two daughters, Leslee A. Jennette and her husband, Edward Jr., of Norfolk, Carol S. Seeley and her husband, Ron, of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Robin Steeber of Norfolk, John R. Hiltner Jr. of Baltimore, Md.; and a great-grandchild, Ryan Steeber.

Services will be private. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, handled arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
