ORDELIA SUMMERS

Ordelia ``Diddy'' Summers, 72, born in Dalles County, Ark., died Sept. 19, 1997, in her Virginia Beach home. Diddy was the widow of C.E. Summers (USN CWO4 Ret.)

Diddy is survived by a son, Kenneth Hamilton of Atlanta, Ga.; nieces, Patricia Marchand of Virginia Beach, Terry Fitchett, Marion Yeargin, Rose Yeargin; a nephew, Steve Yeargin; grandnieces, Aimee Bader, Sunny Marchand, Amber Marchand, Trina Nowlin and Elsa Hamilton; grandnephews, Wes Hamilton and Steve Fitchett; great-grandnephews, Tyler and Darrin; and a great-grandniece, Kayci.

A private graveside service will be held at Rosewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Sentara Hospice Program, No. 8 Koger Executive Center, Norfolk, Va. 23502. The Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
