The Seatack Recreation Center pool, which opened in April, will be closed for two weeks beginning Thursday for warranty work.
The pool is being drained and checked for defects before the warranty expires, said Teri Dalone, aquatic director with the Department of Parks and Recreation. In addition, the lane lines will be repainted. Dalone said recreation officials want to get the work done before swim league season, which typically runs from November to March, begins.
