Nathan Lee Maironis, 4-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher J. Maironis, died Friday, Sept. 19, 1997, after a short illness.
Born in San Diego, Calif., he moved to Norfolk, where his father is stationed with the Navy.
In addition to his parents, Nathan is survived by a sister, Danielle Marie Maironis and a brother, Christopher Robert Maironis, both at home; maternal grandparents, Archie L. and Katheryn F. Deans of Hampton; paternal grandparents, Robert and Betty Maironis of Garden City, Mich.; paternal great-grandparents, Mary Bixer and Lian Maironis, both of Michigan; and two uncles, Archie L. Deans Jr. and Daniel V. Maironis.
A Mass of the Angels will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hampton, by Chaplain Paul Madej. Burial will follow in Veterans Memorial Gardens, Hampton. The family will be at 3520 Elmore Place, Norfolk. R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, Hampton, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
