FELIX MACIOLEK

Felix Maciolek, 85, died Sept. 22, 1997, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital.

Mr. Maciolek was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. He was a retired chief from the U.S. Navy and was also retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a machinist.

He is preceded in death by a son, Walter Maciolek.

Survivors include his wife, Mary A. Maciolek; three daughters, Mary F. Whitson of Norfolk, Elizabeth A. Mobley of Virginia Beach, and Clementine Harris of Norfolk; a sister, Frances Maciolek of Enfield, Conn.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall Chapel. A funeral mass will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Fischer House, c/o Portsmouth Naval Hospital, 620 John Paul Jones Circle, Portsmouth, Va. 23708.
