Wilson Henry ``Flash'' Ambrose, 73, of the 5000 block of Pontiac Road, died Sept. 29, 1997, in Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital.
Born in Plymouth, N.C., he was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the Virginia Shaggers Hall of Fame, Scottish Rite, Granby St., a 32nd Degree Mason, Greenbrier Lodge, Plume St. He established and owned both Brose's Sub Shop and Flash's Mobile Lunch more than 30 years ago.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Mrs. Barbara A. Ambrose; two daughters, Shaaron Lynn Lawrence of Chesapeake, Christina Marie Ambrose of Virginia Beach; a son, Charles Wiliam Ambrose; grandchildren, Laniy Alexandria Ambrose and William Hunter Ambrose of Virginia Beach.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kempsville Rescue Squad. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
