FRANCES R. JORDAN

Frances Roberts Jordan, 82, a resident of the Ocean View area of Norfolk since 1944, died Sept. 29, 1997, in a local hospital.

Born in Portsmouth, she was a retired bookkeeper and a former member of the Ocean View Democratic Club. She was the widow of Lloyd G. Jordan.

Survivors include two sons, Lloyd G. Jordan Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., and Kenny Roberts Jordan of Norfolk; two granddaughters, Lisa Gifford Snyder of Norfolk and Jennifer Jordan of Jacksonville; and two great-grandchildren, Kristin Snyder and Zachary Snyder, both of Norfolk.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today by the Rev. Richard E. Prince in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lee's Friends.
