Mamie Lee Wright, 88, a native of Tilford, Tenn., formerly of Portsmouth, died Oct. 2, 1997, in Virginia Beach.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Norfolk and the widow of Ebram Byrd Wright.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy K. Parker and her husband, Dennis A., of Virginia Beach; three sons, E.B. Wright of Virginia Beach, Edward S. Wright of Chesapeake, Ronald Lee Wright Sr. of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; a sister, Birdie Kistner of Palm Springs, Calif.; a brother, J.D. Harris of Miami, Fla.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Dr. Pete Lopresti. Burial will be in Meadowbook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
