Rose McGlynn Shannon, 69, of the 100 block of Pueblo Trail, died Oct. 4, 1997, in the Chowan Hospital in Edenton, N.C.
She was a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and a retired transporter for the Lake County West Hospital. Mrs. Shannon was the daughter of the late James and Anne Tucker McGlynn and the widow of the late Proctor Shannon.
She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Perryman of Willowby, Ohio; a son, J. Thomas Shannon of Willowick, Ohio; two sisters, Agnes Shannon of Orwell, Ohio, and Annamae Springborn of Edenton, N.C.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and devoted friends, David and Angela Silverthorne of Edenton, N.C.
A memorial service will be at held at a later date in Mentor, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation. Evans Funeral Home, Edenton, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
