Ann Clinton ``Bootsie'' Drew, 87, a lifelong resident, died Oct. 3, 1997, in Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk.
She was a graduate of Farmville State Teachers College, a schoolteacher in Smithfield, and secretary for Ruritan National. She was a member of Wakefield United Methodist Church, Wakefield Women's Club, the NSDAR Frances Bland Chapter, the D.A.C., the U.D.C. General William Mahone Chapter, and the A.P.V.A. Thomas Rolfe Branch.
Ms. Drew is survived by her nephew, Longhorne Drew Francis of Richmond; several cousins; and many friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Purviance Funeral Home by the Rev. C. Randolph Duncan. Burial will be in Wakefield Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
