JUDITH E. SMITH

Judith Ellen Smith, 36, of the 600 block of Shenandoah St., died Sunday, Oct. 5, 1997, in her home.

Mrs. Smith was born in Portsmouth. She lovingly participated in her children's school activities at John Tyler Elementary School, Hunt-Mapp Middle School and the Wilson Little League.

Survivors include her husband, Robert G. Smith; a son, Richard C. Brinkley; a daughter, Amber L. Smith, all of Portsmouth; her mother, Edith Medlin Hurt of Chesapeake; four sisters, Arlene L. Hangley of New Port Richey, Fla., Connie M. Reynolds of Portsmouth, Sandra L. Day of Chesapeake and Penny L. Griffin of Portsmouth.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, by the Rev. Gary Kumm. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. Friends may join the family Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Judith E.
