Bernie Anderson Faulkner, 74, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 1997, in Rapides General Hospital, Alexandria, La.
He was a member of Colfax United Methodist Church; Tidal Wave No. 273, F & AM, Portsmouth, Va.; a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II; and a retired welder.
Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth Fischer of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; two sisters, Virginia Long of Staunton, Va., and Margaret West of Richmond, Va.; and three grandchildren.
A funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Colfax United Methodist Church with the Rev. James W. Reid officiating. Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery. Friends may call at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Pineville, from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday and at the church from 1 p.m. until the service. Memorials may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 1200 S.
