Allan V. Taylor II, 20, of the 5400 block of Wallingford Arch died Oct. 4, 1997, in Fairfax, Va.
Born in Norfolk, he was a waiter for Ruby Tuesdays in Fairfax. He was a 1995 graduate of Roger B. Chaffee High School, Bermuda, and an assistant coach for the Girls Varsity Volleyball Team at Tallwood High School.
Survivors include his mother, Yvonne A. Taylor, and father, Allan V. Taylor Sr., both of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Shannon Stoks of Virginia Beach and Carmen Weaver, and her husband, Robert T. Weaver, of Portsmouth; grandmothers, Katherine A. Taylor of Norfolk and E. Devona Ward of Houston, Texas; grandfather, Dewey L. Ward of Yuma, Ariz.; a nephew, Austin ``Tyler'' Weaver of Portsmouth; several aunts, uncle, cousins and many friends.
A funeral will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. John M. Eidam. His ashes will be scattered in Bermuda at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to the Tallwood High School Volleyball Team, 1668 Kempsville Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23464.
