Margaret A. McGee Friez, 80, a former resident of Springfield, Pa., died Oct. 3, 1997, at home.
Born in Philadelphia, she moved to Margate, N.J., as a young child and lived there until her marriage. Subsequently, she lived in Springfield for more than 40 years before moving to Virginia Beach 10 years ago. Mrs. Friez was a former member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church of Springfield.
Daughter of the late John J. McGee and Margaret Miller McGee, she is survived by her husband, Julien P. Friez; six daughters, Sandra Salopek, Dierdre Liles, Bonnie Boone and Nicole Friez, all of Virginia Beach, Suzanne Reynolds of Collegeville and Denise Santivasi of Wallingford; two sons, Julien P. Friez Jr. of Boca Raton, Fla., and Kenneth P. Friez of Springfield; two brothers, John J. McGee and James McGee, both of Springfield; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She also was sister of Edith R. Kelly, who died in 1989, and the late Willie McGee.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. today in St. John Chrysostom Catholic Church, Providence Road, Wallingford. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon. Calling will be after 9 a.m. today at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, Chester. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
