John Cornelius Doud, 84, of the 7200 block of Granby St. died Oct. 6, 1997, in a local hospital.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the widower of Shelia E. Doud and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He was assistant director of telecommunications with the federal government.
Survivors include a daughter, Rosemary W. Doud of Norfolk; a brother, William E. Doud of Centerville, Va.; two nieces, two nephews and several other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by Fr. Jullian B. Goodman. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends in the funeral home one hour prior to the service. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
