Joyce G. Combs ``Beans'' Seifert, 56, of the 800 block of Riverbend Road, died Oct. 8, 1997.

Born in Castalia, N.C., she was a retired cashier at Colonial Store and Big Star. She was a past president of Ladies Auxiliary Fleet Reserve Association Branch No. 40.

Survivors include her husband, Donald E. Seifert; three daughters, Debra Combs Zachary of Virginia Beach, Pamela Combs Hendricks of Norfolk, Donna M. Seifert of Tampa, Fla.; three sons, William E. Combs III of Gloucester, Va., Mitchell D. Seifert of Navarre, Fla., Mark D. Seifert of Tallahassee, Fla.; two brothers, Revis Griffin of Oak Hall, Va., Gene Griffin of Williamsburg, Va.; 10 grandchildren, David, Brantley, Sarah, Marshall, Meghan, Miles, Donald, Brittny, Nicholas and Daniel. She was predeceased by a daughter, Angela Jones.

A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by the Rev. Ronald Sterrett. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday and at 3533 Raintree Road, Virginia Beach, after the service. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
