Selma E. Mize, 86, of the 900 block of London Blvd., died Oct. 9, 1997.
She was a native of Asheville, N.C., and a member of Alexander Baptist Church. She was the widow of Harold W. Mize Sr.
Survivors include a daughter, Connie Currie and husband, Jim, of Portsmouth; three sons, Harold W. Mize Jr. of Yulee, Fla., Richard C. Mize of Newport News and Carl C. McGinley of Jacksonville, Fla.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Tom Potter. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
