Raymond Howard Tutor Sr., 49, of the 4000 block of Ebbtide Lane died Oct. 13, 1997, in his residence.
A native of Water Valley, Miss., he was the son of the late Howard N. Tutor and the late Margaret Bruner Tutor. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah L. Tutor; two daughters, Jamie Rae Tutor of Portsmouth and Terry Arradondo of Cocoa, Fla.; two sons, James H. Tutor of Portsmouth and Raymond H. Tutor Jr. of Halifax County, Va.; a brother, James A. Tutor of Portsmouth; and eight grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Dr. Gene England. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
