Police have secured murder and firearm warrants for a man suspected of killing a 20-year-old man in West Ocean View Monday night.
Police spokesman Larry Hill said detectives were looking for Edwin G. Villalongo, 19, whose last known address was in the 1000 block of W. Ocean View Ave.
Hill said the shooting occurred about 7:45 p.m. in the parking lot of the Sea Mist Apartments in the 1000 block of W. Ocean View. The victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 1100 block of W. Ocean View, where he was pronounced dead.
The identity of the victim, 20, was not released pending notification of relatives. Hill said he was from Indiana.
The investigation into the homicide is continuing, police said.
