DENNIS M. MCQUEENEY

Dennis M. McQueeney, 55, died Oct. 15, 1997, in his residence.

He was born in Hartford, Conn. and retired from the U.S. Navy with 22 years of service. He was a Catholic.

Survivors include his wife, Beverley A. McQueeney; a daughter, Christine Johanson of Virginia Beach; four sons, Michael S. McQueeney of Virginia Beach, Christopher S. McQueeney of Abington, Mass., Dennis M. McQueeney Jr. of Chesapeake, Brian D. McQueeney of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mary E. Vendetti of Pembroke, Mass.; two grandchildren, Carol Johanson and Martha Kaitlin McQueeney.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, by Fr. Edward L. Richardson. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home at 7 p.m. where the family will remain to greet friends until 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be to the American Cancer Society.
