ELLA G. TIMBERLAKE

Ella G. Timberlake of the 1300 block of Reservoir Ave., died Oct. 17, 1997, in her residence.

She was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Alvin C. Timberlake. She worked at Henry B. Gilpin Wholesale Drug Co. as a clerk and had retired from Bergen Brunswig Corp. after 29 years. Mrs. Timberlake was a former member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School.

Survivors include a daughter, Alvinia Timberlake of Bay Shore, N.Y.; her mother, Marlisa Davis Godfrey; father, Steven Godfrey; a special nephew, Herman Price; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Hale Funeral Home by Bishop Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Hampton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1331 Reservoir Ave., where they will also assemble at 11 a.m. Wednesday. A wake service will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
