Nelson Olin Singleton, 61, of Baker Road and formerly of Goldsboro, N.C., died Saturday, Oct. 18, 1997, at his residence.
Mr. Singleton served in the U.S. Army and was employed by Singleton Roofing for over 20 years. He was the son of the late William Malcolm Singleton and Frances Singleton Ham.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert T. (Virginia) Clark of Goldsboro; two nephews, Michael and Lamonte Clark of Goldsboro; two nieces, Sharon Hansford of Raleigh and Beverly Carr of Goldsboro; and three stepchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, Chesapeake. The family will assemble at the funeral home prior to the service at 12:50 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
