Beulah Curling Humphries, 89, of the 900 block of Beryl Ave. died Oct. 20, 1997.
Mrs. Humphries was a native of Princess Anne County and a charter member of Community United Methodist Church. She was also a charter member and past president of the Kempsville Women's Club. She was a volunteer 4-H Leader for 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Humphries.
Survivors include her three daughters, Audrey H. Widgeon of Virginia Beach, Shirley H. Gerken of Blacksburg, Va., and Doris H. DeSarro of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall Chapel. A church service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Community United Methodist Church by Dr. Keith Almond and Dr. Jean McDonald. Interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park.
