Lillian W. Holden, 95, died Oct. 20, 1997, in her residence.
Born in Worchester, Mass., she had retired as a lab assistant from the Department of Public Health, Amherst, Mass., after 25 years of service. She was a member of Kempsville Baptist Church and formerly a member of First Baptist Church of Amherst and No. 754 Auxiliary, Amherst.
Survivors include three daughters, Ruth E. Makenzie of Baltimore, Md., Edna M. Parisher of Norfolk and Florence M. Nelson of Manassas, Va.; a son, Henry R. Holden of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by Dr. Kelly J. Burris. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kempsville Baptist Church.
