GLADYS S. HUDGINS

Gladys Louise Starboard Hudgins, 79, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 1997, in Riverside Regional Medical Center after a short illness.

She was the wife of the late Everett Way Hudgins Jr. She grew up in the Campostella area of Norfolk, married and later moved to the Peninsula.

Mrs. Hudgins is survived by three sons, Everett Hudgins of Hampton and ``Bob'' Hudgins and ``Tom'' Hudgins, both of Newport News; five grandchildren; four great-grandsons; and a brother, Willie Starboard of Norfolk.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Peninsula Funeral Home. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home by the Rev. Lawrence J. Biermann and the Rev. Stanley Putney. Burial will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
