Etheline Hayes Williams, 69, of 1852 Indian River Road, Pungo, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 1997, in her son's residence at 4875 Virginia Beach Blvd.
She was a native of Easley, S.C., and was the wife of the late Roy E. Williams.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara W. Wessels of Miami, Fla.; two sons, Perry Williams and Danny Williams, both of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Doris H. Puckett, Annelle H. Ferguson and Mary H. Major, all of Greenville, S.C.; two brothers, James Carl Hayes of Easley, S.C., and Ralph E. Hayes of Greenville; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 19 nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Charity United Methodist Church Cemetery, Gum Bridge Road and Charity Neck Road by the Rev. Jack E. Davis. The family will receive friends in the Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Ave. Chapel from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.
