RICHARD W. MOODY

Richard Wayne Moody, 48, of the 1800 block of Gravenhurst Drive, died Oct. 21, 1997, at home.

He retired a year ago from the U.S. Marine Corps with 21 years of service. A native of Clarksville, Tenn., he was known for his gracious hospitality. Mr. Moody was a member of Greenhill Missionary Baptist Church, Clarksville.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Brenda Moody; a son, Nile Moody; two daughters, Darenda Moody, Tia Moody; a sister, Zelda Mask; two brothers, Donald Moody, Michael Moody; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2106A Salem Road, Virginia Beach. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
