OCEAN LAKES WILL LOOK TO THE AIR VS. TALLWOOD

Ocean Lakes coach Jim Prince wants quarterback Walt Amos to do the unheard of tonight - pass and pass often.

``We haven't thrown the ball that well,'' Prince said.

But even with Jermaine Lauzon, who is averaging 6.6 yards a carry, Prince feels the Dolphins (5-2, 4-2) will need to establish a passing attack to knock off Tallwood (5-2, 4-2) if Ocean Lakes is to hold onto a share of second place in the Beach District.

Amos, who missed two games this season with an ulcer in his colon, was 3 of 6 for 12 yards and one touchdown in last week's 13-0 victory over Salem. For the season, the senior is 22 of 52 for 288 yards with three touchdowns.

On the other side of the ball, Prince is expecting his defensive ends and linebackers to put up their usual strong performances to slow down Tallwood's offense.

The second-ranked Dolphins' defensive unit has allowed more than seven points only once this season - 26 during a defeat to Bayside. However, that loss was sandwiched between a pair of shutouts to Cox and Salem.

Pick: Tallwood 22-20
