Marvin Earl Brown, 84, of the 3500 block of Tennessee Ave. died Oct. 24, 1997, in a local hospital.
Born in Roswell, N.M., he was a firefighter for the Naval Base, retired after 26 years. He was the widower of Marian L. Brown.
Survivors include two daughters, Marian Earlene Glenn of Eatonton, Ga. and Mary Edna Brown of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Pamela J. Griffen of Norfolk, Stephen W. Glenn of Virginia Beach, Michael E. Glenn of Norfolk; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. George Boyd. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
