ARTA M. GRAHAM

Arta Marilyn Graham, 71, a native of Norfolk, Va., died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 1997, in her residence.

Mrs. Graham was born in Pensacola, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Watson Lehman and Margaret Brooks Lehman, and her sister, Valerie Brooks Hamill. She was a member of the Duck Woods Country Club Women's Association and the senior ladies dance troop, The Wright Tappers. Mrs. Graham was an Episcopalian by faith. Prior to retirement in Southern Shores, Marilyn was employed on the clerical staff of William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Mich.

She is survived by her husband, James Thomas Graham; two sons, James Parker Graham of Mount Clemens, Mich. and Douglas Brooks Graham of Seattle, Wash.; and a grandchild.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, 1997, in St. Andrews by the Sea Episcopal Church, Nags Head, by the Rev. Charles Gill. A reception will follow the memorial service at Duck Woods Country Club. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
