Myrtle Chafin, 88, died Oct. 24, 1997, in Oakwood Nursing Home.
She was born in Dante, Va., and was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Leon Chafin of Norfolk; a niece, Jean Calbert of Columbus, Ohio; and a nephew, Walter Ramsey of Shelby, Ohio.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Rosewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norview Chapel.
