Brian J. Henson, 6, of the 7900 block of Cherry Tree Road, died Oct. 23, 1997, at the University of Virginia Medical Hospital.
Born in Norfolk, he was a student at Courthouse Road Elementary School, Spotsylvania.
Survivors include his parents, Paul and Anna Marie Henson of Fredericksburg; a sister, Angela Henson of Chesapeake; brothers, Paul Henson Jr. of Chesapeake and Justin Henson and Brandon Henson, both of Fredericksburg; grandparents, Paul and Velma G. Henson, both of Virginia Beach; aunt, Debbie Varnell, and uncle, Craig Varnell, both of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions can be made to Ronald McDonald House, Charlottesville, in memory of Brian J. Henson.
