Elizabeth Ann Simpson Barker, 28, of the 1000 block of Marsh Cause Way died Oct. 25, 1997, in a local hospital.
Elizabeth was a graduate of Currituck High School and also of Johnson and Wales College.
Survivors include her mother, Mamie Simpson of Knotts Island; a brother, Charlie Simpson Jr. of Knotts Island; her former husband, Kevin Ray Barker; and several aunts and uncles.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Simpson Family Cemetery on Marsh Cause Way in Knotts Island. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
