Juanita Cooper Williams, 72, passed away Monday morning, Oct. 27, 1997, in a Virginia Beach nursing home.
She was the widow of Harry Williams, who was killed in action in France during World War II. She was a native of Jonesville, Va., and the daughter of Mrs. Hester Cooper, age 102, and the late William Cooper. She was retired from Norfolk Naval Air Station and a member of Coleman Place Presbyterian Church, Norfolk. She was an avid lover of pets.
Other than her mother, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Pina Huskin of Jonesville, Va., Mildred Hughson of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a brother, Odell Cooper of Cleveland, Ohio.
The family will receive friends in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Burial will be in Lee County Memorial Park, near Jonesville. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
