CORRECTIONS

A list of political endorsements for statewide candidates that

ran in Saturday's Pilot should not have included the Medical Society

of Virginia among the organizations endorsing John Hager, the

Republican nominee for lieutenant governor of Virginia. The same

list also should have said that the Public Safety Coalition - not

the Public Safety Violation - endorsed Democratic gubernatorial

nominee Donald S. Beyer Jr.

Photographer-historian Carroll H. Walker was born in Brooklyn,

not Baltimore. A story in Monday's Daily Break had an error.
