Legendary windsurfer Robby Naish, 34, of Oahu, Hawaii, performs

Monday before an enthusiastic gathering of windsurfers south of

Avon, doing maneuvers he invented during his career as a world

champion. The former U.S. team member, sporting the sail number

1111, drew admirers for autographs and snapshots when he returned to

the beach. He is making his first visit to the Outer Banks as part

of a promotional tour.
