Augustus Odom, 65, of the 900 block of Scott St. died Oct. 21, 1997, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine T. Odom; two daughters, Vanessa Taylor-Robison, Helene Scott of Syracuse, N.Y.; six sons, Eduardo Odom of Norfolk, Rickie Odom of Florida, Erick Barnes, Delrick Barnes, Frederick Barnes and Cedric Barnes of Norfolk. He will be greatly missed by both family and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hale Funeral Chapel, Norfolk, by Evangelist Vanessa Taylor-Robison. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
