Donald D. Davis, 65 years young, of the 300 block of E. Randall Ave., passed peacefully on Oct. 29, 1997, in his residence after a short illness.
He will be dearly missed by Barbara A. Davis and Judith A. Davis; his children, Donald D. Davis Jr., Stephen Lee Davis, Tracey L. LaCava, Jon Henry Davis, Christopher A. Ivey and Brandon W. Ivey; grandchildren, Lindsay M. LaCava, Cody C. Davis, Stephanie L. Davis, Sara E. Davis, Ruth A. Davis, Rebecca Juel Davis, Amanda R. Ivey; and his sister, Linda Carol Davis; and nieces and nephews.
Mr. Davis was well-regarded by his many colleagues in the banking and real estate industries. He was a trustee and past master of Corothian Masonic Lodge No. 266. His devotion to the lodge and his brothers will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Sandi Benton. The family will receive friends in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Masonic rites will be accorded at the cemetery.
