PATRICK L. O'BRIEN

Patrick L. O'Brien, 56, of the 800 block of Crossing Court, died Oct. 27, 1997, in a local hospital.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the Fleet Reserve Branch No. 5, and VFW Post No. 4809. Patrick's time on earth was devoted to his loving wife, family and friends. He gave a lending hand to anyone in need. He is predeceased by his parents, the late Edward and Ann McNally O'Brien of Galway, Ireland; two brothers, Edward and John O'Brien; and a sister, Florence O'Brien.

Survivors include his wife, Martha A. Cassidy; a son, Michael Patrick O'Brien; two stepsons, Sean Cassidy and Brendon Patrick Cassidy; five sisters, Ann Flannery, Mary Erwin, Barbara Orzol, Irene O'Malley, Catherine Shevin; three grandchildren, Steven Michael Cassidy, Mary Elizabeth Cassidy and Sean Lee Cassidy Jr.

Mr. O'Brien will be buried at sea. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a favorite charity. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
