EVELYN S. RINGLER

Evelyn Smith Ringler, 72, of the 5100 block of Peake Lane died Oct. 31, 1997,in her residence.

A native of Portsmouth, she was the widow of Wilson Edward Ringler. Mrs. Ringler was a homemaker and a member of Cottage Place United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Renee Ringler Willhoite of Chesapeake; a son, Carl Edward Ringler of Portsmouth; a son-in-law, Donald Willhoite; a granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth Willhoite of Chesapeake; and many caring friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Cottage Place United Methodist Church by the Rev. James D. Thomas. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the church. Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
