Marie Evelyn Harne Hoover of the 700 block of Miller St., died Nov. 2, 1997, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Hoover was a native of Waynesboro, Pa. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Norfolk and was a charter member of St. Mary's Infant Home.
Survivors include her husband, Leon Edward Hoover; two sisters, Mildred Eyer of Waynesboro, Pa., Hazel Jones of Wilmington, Del.; and her brother, Charles Harne Jr. of Frederick, Md.
A Mass of Christian Burial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Christ the King Catholic Church by Father Brian Rafferty. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Gardens. A Christian wake service will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Norfolk Chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church, 3401 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk, Va. 23503. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
