DELSIE LITTLE

Delsie Little of the 5400 block of Tidewater Drive, died Oct. 31, 1997, in a local hospital.

She was born in Hickory, Va., and had retired as a laborer/packer from Sandler's Seafood. Mrs. Little was educated in the Norfolk Public School System at Booker T. Washington High School.

Survivors include two daughters, Vernell Everett and Belva Little, both of Norfolk; a son, Thomas Little of Chesapeake; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and an uncle, Samuel Cuffee of Norfolk. She was predeceased by her parents, James E. and Zola P. Jones.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in New Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 927 Cranston Drive, Chesapeake. The remains will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
