An item in Monday's Hampton Roads briefs gave the wrong dates for two Virginia Choral Society performances. The group will be at Ogden Hall in Hampton at 8 p.m. Friday and at James Blair Middle School in Williamsburg at 8 p.m. Saturday. A performance will also be held at First Friends Church in Portsmouth at 3 p.m. Sunday.
A file photo of Kristen and Kathy Markham of Virginia Beach was used out of context with a story in Wednesday's Daily Break. The story described collectors who were trying for big profits by collecting Beanie Babies, but the photo, taken in June, was originally used to illustrate a story about the Markham sisters donating Beanie Babies to Hope Haven Home. Also, Beanie Babies that the girls sold as a fund-raiser cost up to $50 - not $2,200, as stated in the photo caption.
The Virginia State Police bomb squad was misidentified as the Norfolk bomb squad in a headline in Wednesday's Hampton Roads section.

The Food Guide Pyramid for Older Adults and the Activity Pyramid for Persons 50-Plus, referred to in a story Oct. 30 about exercise guidelines for older Americans, will be available to the public in spring.
