Grace J. Butts, 82, of the 1200 block of Lindsay Ave. died Nov. 6, 1997.
The widow of John A. Butts, she was a member of Zion Bethel U.C.C. where she was an usher.
Survivors include a son, Deby Jones; four sisters, Mable Ross, Elmer Hawkins, Estelle Hawkins and Virginia Hawkins; a brother, William Jones; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Zion Bethel U.C.C., Portsmouth, by the Rev. D.A. Peace. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. The family will be at 1013 Warfield Drive and will assemble there for the procession. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
