BETTY S. CRANE

Betty Stephenson Crane, 70, died Tuesday Nov. 11, 1997, in Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville, N.C.

A native of Hertford County, she was retired from the Hertford County School System. She was a past worthy matron of Pendleton Chapter 13, Order of the Eastern Star and was a member of Conway United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Crane of their home at 301 N. Church St.; a son, Tillman J. Harrell III of Albuquerque, N.M.; two daughters, Carol M. Crane and Resa Crane of Greenville; an adopted son, Patrick Bizzaro of Greenville; three grandchildren, Josh and Angela Harrell of Albuquerque, Robby Cooke of Greenville; three sisters, Katherine Freehling of Garden Grove, Calif., Bates King of Murfreesboro, Rebecca Walker of Portsmouth; a brother, Tony Stephenson of Winton.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Crestview Memorial Cemetery, Smith Church Road, Roanoke Rapids, by the Rev. John Butson. Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospital, Greenville, S.C. Bridgers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
