Steve & Eydie HOW HIP are Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme? So hip they're on the new CD ``Lounge-A-Palooza'' with the Ben Folds Five, PJ Harvey, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Cassandra Wilson and the Pizzicato Five. How popular are Steve and Eydie - besides being on a first-name basis with their fans? So popular their gig with the Virginia Symphony Pops sold out lickety-split. Reminder: 8 p.m. Saturday, Chrysler Hall, Norfolk.

TUTUS AND TOE SHOES are the garb du jour as the Stars of the Kirov Ballet take the stage at 7 p.m. at Chrysler Hall. Those with tickets to the sold-out show will see 18 excerpts from the Kirov repertoire, including ``Swan Lake,'' ``Sleeping Beauty,'' ``Romeo and Juliet'' and ``The Nutcracker.'' Most of us won't see the show - it's sold out. But it's a benefit for the Virginia Waterfront International Arts Festival, which is starting to book acts for its spring run. For info on those events, call 664-6492.
