VERNON T. PRIVOTT

Vernon Thomas Privott, 58, of the 5900 block of Goodwin Blvd., Chuckatuck section, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 1997, in a local hospital.

He was born in Norfolk and was an Army veteran.

Survivors include a son, Jermaine Privott, and a grandson, both of New York; stepmother, Bernice Privott of Norfolk; seven sisters, Thelma Holly, Gracie White, Annie M. Ryland, Antionette Baker, Sarah Pyatt, all of Norfolk, Bernice Barnes, Carolyn A. Privott, both of Virginia Beach; four brothers, Andrew H. Privott Jr., Anthony L. Privott, Billy Smith, all of Norfolk, Wesley Nixon of Colorado; an aunt, Dorothy Stokes of Norfolk; a special nephew, Raymond Peele of Suffolk; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy Holland and Andrew H. Privott Sr.

Arrangements are pending with Metropolitan Funeral Service, Norfolk. Family and friends will assemble at 2411 E. Princess Anne Road, Apartment L, Norfolk. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
